Hey, Love. I got accepted into Mass Comm in NP. Okay, I'd be lying if I said that I didn't expect it coming. :/ So uh, hello NP? hah. ohwells. People bugging me with surprised faces on why I did not consider JC. Ohwells. Anyways I'm getting hyped up for the OCBC Cycle Singapore thingy, though I'm cycling alone. Ahwells. Sounds pretty fn, and I'll have to start training soon. :O
I shall. I shall update a lil. Last friday I went on a shopping spree. Shopped in a way that I have never done so before. Last Sunday(yesterday) morning, I visited my uncle's urn at the temple then slept at my aunt's place before I did another short and quick round of shopping before going to my granny's house. Was pretty boring actually. Then today(Monday) was just visiting granny's house. Well, this CNY is the same as previous years. The only thing is that we cousins don't really talk to each other anymore. Ohwells. Doesn't matter anyways. Tmr will be the last day of visiting for me. So yeah. Friday should be posting results. How interesting. :/
mental. I somehow feel that this CNY is different from previous years. :/ Somehow it feels like a normal day. I guess with time, things change? I looked at a few old pictures and it is really amazing. Amazing that the memories are still so fresh. Over at my grandma's house today, things just felt different. The way I felt about the estate was different from what was 2 years ago. Sigh. Anyway while walking around the estate today, I heard a car accelerate real hard with the sound of it going over something, followed by a crash. Then I heard it going over something again. Apparently a car was reversing in the parking lot and it went over a kerb and continued reversing, crashing into a car on the other side of the kerb. Then it forwarded back into he lot. And it totally traumatised me. The sound of the chassis of the car rubbing against the kerb along with the crashing sound is really scary for me then. I do not know why. All I can say is, this chinese new year period has been weird f...
Oh! Today's CNY eve. Pretty boring day, but did a real quick last minute shopping. hah! ;D Now my closet is pretty much revamped. Shall slowly buy more as time passes. heh. Well CNY eve was pretty alright. It didn't seem that bad as I thought. Pretty fun I guess. Ohwells. Nothing much to blog. I'm just speechless.
It's A Love Story. This family is falling apart. I'm totally not interested in the festive family gatherings anymore. Like what my sis said, it's all just an act. Acting that they care about the gathering, acting like they are interested to catch up with each other. And that is why I'm feeling like my sis now -- not having a single interest in upcoming Christmas/CNY gatherings. One day, I will expose every single one of them. Mark my words. Ohwells, I'm not angry. Just disturbed. (: Hmms, yesterday was a pretty long day. Work was prety fun. At least I didn't regret working till 2. It was super crazily tiring, but fun. hah. Ohwells. Guess I won't be working for awhile cause the next banquet is on a Sat. Ohwells. (:
I Should've Rejected. My days are spent staying home, and my nights are spent watching old movies. Ahwells. Tomorrow (Wed) would be my next job day. Asked to work till 2am. Feels like I'm gonna die. :/ And no, my blog title has none to do with this, but I just feel like I'm going nowhere with this job. :/ Especially in attire. I'm going nowhere with this short hair. :/ Sigh sigh. Job hunting for a temp job again i guess. A temp job which has no objections with hair lengths. Anyway I used to " curse and swear " at those people who scored so well and take up those places in poly which Normal Acad people like us should deserve instead. But well, look at me now. Pot calling the kettle black. I guess the JC life is really that scary, even for the top express students, not to mention normal acad students like me. :/ Ohwells. Rawr. My life is going nowhere in this holiday. I need a fulfilling job! ughs.
Wonderland. I think that life can really throw surprises at you every now and then, be it good or bad. I would have no idea or ever thought about entering Mass Comm. But there I was, writing it down unexpectedly on a cold Frieday morning while frantically selecting my choices before the deadline. And honestly, I'm not regretting it for now. I still feel okay about it. (: Hmm. And friendships. I would never thought how some could last for so long, and how some others go. But to put it all the way to the beginning, I never expected such results for my Os. It is just amazing. And my life? It was played out unexpectedly.

Problem? Had another attempt to cycle to Tuas Checkpoint with Glen today. Again it was a failure. This time, he went over a small branch at Pioneer Road causing his bike to seriously flip over a few times as he crashed and his whole face, arms, and legs were covered with abrasion wounds on one side. Anyway it was really bad, and we needed his dad to send us back. Really scary. Ohwells. Anyway something seem to be preventing us from reaching Tuas checkpoint every time we try. Something would always cock up when we're near. :/ Anyway it could have been me who was injured badly, so I guess I was lucky to dodge the branch? :/ I It looks like ketchup, but it's real blood on him! :O ( I know, we're still so happy ;D )
Hm. It feels like a dream. Throughout today I cannot imagine where I am living in. It seems like a wild dream. I never thought that I could acheive this. 6 points for L1R2B2, and 9 for L1R5. It is totally better than what I aimed for. And I thank God for it. I need a while to wake up into life now...
Ohwells. Well, I'm still awake! And it's not because I can't get to sleep, but cause I'm raking up the pile of mags the five polys have sent over the past couple of months. Purpose? To read up and decide where to bring meself. Guess NYP and RP doesn't have a single course that i favour. SP on the other hand has quite a number. NP and TP is almost none actually (sorry Fish, might not be going TP with you. heh). Ohman. Shall be going SP i guess? rawrs. 'O' level results seem nothing to me. It's not because I am confident of my results, but I just don't feel much. And anyway I don't think that I will do exceedingly well, as I have shared with some people. But well, hopefully it is good enough to get me somewhere that I want to.
First. Well, the Norst-East monsoon winds have been blowing violently and it has cause much mess in my room, though it is already messed up. :/ But well, it'll be over soon. (: Well, the winds have been blowing but there hasn't been much precipitation for the past few weeks eh? Maybe just one or two short pours. Anyway today (Friday) was my first job. I expected it to be bad, but it turned out pretty alright. (: The wedding was great, and the job passed quite fast. heh. But guess won't be working again anytime soon, cause the job for next week is on fri and sat. ohwells.. Hopefully there's one the week after next. (:
Crazy! Well, I've decided to join the OCBC Cycle S'pore on me own, since everyone else whom I think can cycle are having their poly common tests during that period... :/ Apparently it is 40KM, but I could never maintain a good speed without taking a break to complete that distance in a reasonable timing. :/ Just yesterday (Wednesday) I attempted to cycle to Tuas checkpoint with Glen, but turned back two bus stops before cause we've hit a dead end for cyclists. (the road led to an expressway and i did not know an alternative route) Anyway, it was about 30 plus kilometers and I could hardly go that distance without a break in between. Sigh. How am I going to complete 40 in an hour and a half? I've calculated that my cruising speed is around 25-27. But how can I maintain that speed? Sigh. I'm going to need some serious training soon. And can someone please join this event with me? Sigh.
Ughs? I've been having this new email for quite awhile now, and I haven't updated my online stuff of my new email. I'm doing it one at a time and oh gosh, it's the worst thing to do! Full of verifications and nonsense. :/ Now onto another note... Well, life is pretty disappointing at times. And life might seem unfair. Life is not going the way we wanted. But then again, where would we be without these trials placed in our lives right? But sigh. Sometimes these problems seem to be irreversible. They were inhumane acts and I can't bear not to think about it. Sigh. Okay, here's another post where I'm blabbering nonsenses that no one can decipher. I'm sorry. Sigh, I need a break from all these.
Everything Will Change But Love Remains The Same. Well, yesterday(Sat) i rushed off at night to meet Glen at Lavender for Mutton Soup. Superly random, but the soup was good. After that we went to town to watch a midnight movie --Twilight. I would never imagine myself to watch a movie like this. I mean like, I have a total zero interest in these types of fantasy movies. But I guess I didn't regret it, so yeahh. Well, actually life is really short. Just a few events playing out since year 1991 and soon I'll be 18 this year. Before you know it, you will be retired and reaching your judgement day. Sigh. ANYWAYS, I just realised something really bugging. I never knew what it was but i guess I figured it out already. Try to keep my name to a low yeah? I don't like the attention. (: Hmm, well, I am going to transform my home theatre into a good one soon. (: Yayes for me. January is going to be a boring month. :/ rawrs.
Hmm. I can't seem to sleep early nowadays. Insomnia maybe. I've been super interested in speaker systems lately, especially the blasting ones for outdoors -- in other words, longthrow speakers. I'm just fascinated by it and wanna be able to own a good set of portable longthrow speakers. Of course, most good portable speakers don't run on battery/DC power. They run on AC. Ohwells. And even if they do run on batteries or on DC power, they are insanely expensive. Just today i got a small pair of portable speakers online. I won't declare the price but I guess it's quite insane for someone like me to get such a small speaker for such a price. But well, I think that I will like it. (: Well, time is passing and the 'O' level results will be out soon. Rawrs. And End-February will be the next BBQ . I know it is weirdly placed but well, it's not too near to the start of school for the poly-freshmen and should also be the holiday period for the current poly st...
Retracing The Road. Pasir Ris Drive 3 . I do not know why i always remember this long stretch of road. Just yesterday(31st Dec), I passed this road in a bus at 920pm and i slowly recounted that it was exactly 24 hours ago that i went through it during my 125KM cycle. And when I was on my way back this morning along the same road again at 7am, I recounted that it was less than 34 hours ago that i was going along the road. I do not know what is the significance of this road, but I just seem to remember my past journeys on this road. Alright, enough about that. I have not bade a proper farewell to 2008 yet. Perhaps that is what's bugging me now. 2008 -- the year I first cycled over 100KM in a day. I have cycled 3 complete rounds around Singapore, changed my perspective of cycling, and acheieved what I never did before on my bike. Indeed 2008 has been a great year. Everything has improved in 2008. The only thing that hasn't changed much is most probably my emotional control. Hopefu...
