Christmas 2 0 1 1 . Well, Christmas has just passed. This year, slightly after a year since I've been in TV Ministry for church, I joined the TV Christmas Drama as the crew. Rehearsals were few and I didn't get to familiarise myself with the cues that well, but after every one of the five services held at Suntec Convention, I would pass the camera back to the service crew, and walk back to the control room smiling and even laughing to myself. It was truly a huge privilege and good chance that I got to serve in the drama production. My spirits would be lifted after each service because I know that whatever the entire crew just did makes a very big difference in how the congregation would view the drama and receive the message. Every slight thing that is done by us would affect thousands every service. It is truly uplifting to see the respondents coming down during the alter call. It lets pastor, the drama crew, backstage crew, and us know that we have all made a difference beca...
It's a vicious cycle. Disappointments are a vicious cycle. They never end. It spreads from one person to another. The worst part is that when disappointment infects someone else, it doesn't move on. I've just figured it out. When someone disappoints you, something in you changes. It causes bitterness that will cause you to disappoint others. It's a chain reaction thing and just sticks. Well, it's only a while later that you realise that you've disappointed the wrong people. But ohwell. We'll all learn from it and move on. So anyway, Christmas is just around the corner, and so is Christmas drama at church! :D Serving is never easy. But I still do because it really makes a whole difference to the whole service. We were all called to serve and not to be served. But anyway, I can't wait for it. The rehearsals are super tiring but really rewarding. (: And anyway, 2011 is ending real soon.
