From as long as I can remember, there are always landmarks of a year which I really look forward to. My Birthday. Christmas. New Year. Chinese New Year. Yep. Christmas and Chinese New Year especially. From young, I've always looked forward to these two occasions because of the family gathering. It's the only 2 times of the year which I get to see all my cousins. I still remember the stupid things that the five of us will do. We're always wrecking the entire neighbourhood of my grandma's. We'd loiter, start campfires, play block catching, "drive" a grass-cutting vehicle before crashing it, throw things around, and just pretty much have fun. Over the years, some of my dad's brothers stopped meeting together at my grandma's and the talking and hanging with the cousins kind of died off. And right now, we're all not even meeting on these "special" days anymore. It'd honestly be nice if things were the same as the past, but we know that...
What's not important to you may be important to some one else. Just a very random post. Well, the title explains it. Some milestones in my life were really important and cherished by me, but aren't that important by others who did the exact same thing as me back then. The reverse is true as well. Anyway, most nights I'm just listening to old songs from the period between 2004 till now. I've blogged before years back that most of my important moments in life have a song attached to it. Pretty much been thinking a lot of the past ever since the Christmas period, and just really wish that maybe one day, I can go back to the exact spot and time to experience it all over again, both the good and bad memories. I never wish to alter my past, it's ridiculous to think of that - just want to feel those moments again. The closest I can ever get is to only cycle back to the same places again and try to look back, retracing each scene, step by step, moment by moment. But I...
