Today i cycled 78 KM in 9 hours. :D

Let me explain how.

Today, Glen woke me up with his missed call at 1pm. Then when he called again, i answered it and chatted with him for awhile before we decided to cycle to IMM at Jurong to train our stamina after not cycling for quite awhile. So he came over to my house, and i got prepared. Then we left at around 2pm and headed for IMM. We used Bukit Timah Road, followed by Clementi Road, and Commonwealth Ave West. We reached there at around 310pm and we walked around Giant. After walking around we headed for Suntec to shop at Carrefour, so we cycled all the way down, following the train way, and going through the CBD area. But before entering the CBD area, we took at break at a petrol kiosk in Redhill and over there, we decided to cycle to East Coast after Suntec. LOL! Anyway, when we reached the Fountain of Wealth at Suntec, i went around it to Temasek Ave. But at the Temasek Boulevard exit (between towers 2 & 3), a car just cut into my lane and turned in, causing me to suddenly brake and swerve to the side, and dropping my handphone on the road cause i was talking to Jaan at that time. It all happened so quick. So close to hitting him. mygosh.

Anyway, we parked our bikes at tower 4 and went to my Aunty's shop. At this time, Jaan is on his way to East Coast with my bike... When i was done with my shopping and all, i left for East Coast at 6pm and rushed there as Jaan had already reached. I used Nicoll Highway and Mountbatten Road. At East Coast, while resting with Glen & Jaan on a Breakwater, i suggested cycling to Pasir Ris. HAHA. We then went to eat first at the Lagoon area, before setting off for Pasir Ris. It can be considered following the train tracks cause the Roads we used were beside the MRT line and it was already 740pm when we left East Coast. When we reached Pasir Ris, we went to buy a bottle of Bacardi Breezer at NTUC and we drunk it outside. After that we went toilet, then we started cycling back to Toa Payoh which was like 16 KM away. ohgosh. HAHA. It was already 920pm! But we just cycled back and took a break at IKEA Tampines & at Kovan MRT. I got super hyper at kovan and i started jumping around and walking like hardgay in front of many many people at the bus stop. HAHA. But anyway, we managed to reach Toa Payoh by 11pm. (:

The final distance travelled is 78 KM.

After we reached Tpy, Glen went home to bathe, Jaan went home, and i went home to bathe as well. When Glen came back, we went to lorong 5 to eat BanMian and then went back to my house to watch spiderman 3 until 3am. But now its already 445am and i still cant sleep. Anyway, i noticed that the bike that i let Jaan cycle had a punctured back tyre. Wonder if it was like that all along? Sigh. I pity him. Its hard to ride a punctured bike.

BTW, if the above post was complicating, then below is a summary of the places we cycled to.

TPY == IMM == Suntec == East Coast == Pasir Ris == Kovan == TPY

This cycling trip is considered as good as a Road Trip for me & Glen. Cause we both cycled the whole day without stopping much except to shop & eat.

This trip is equilevant to :

Central = West = South = South East = East = North East = Central

Cool huh? Believe it, its 78 KM now.

No longer 57 KM. :D
